Hello, everyone. I have left this newsletter to the very last minute, so that I can wish you all a happy New Year. I hope it brings you happiness and good health. This year has been busy with one book published and my manuscript, The German Half-Bloods coming to the end of its first draft. It’s also been a good year for awards with five awards won worldwide in 2017 for Swearing Allegiance, Blood Moon, Mercy Carver and The Scattered Flock. And as a bonus, I got three new Bestsellers under my belt. I also took a trip to Louisiana, and the Miami Readers’ Favourite Awards, which was a blast.
In other news: I have just signed contracts for The Flock Trilogy, and The Mercy Carver Series with Cherry Hill, Audiobooks Publishing. I’ve had a listen to the two narrators, both British, and I am delighted with their superb voice skills. Look out for these five books in 2018.
On a sad note, I lost my beloved dog, Reina. The house is empty without her, and I am still coming to terms with losing my companion of 14 years. Someone asked me the other day if I was going to get another dog. I said, no. She was more than a dog to me. She was my family, my muse, my confidant, and I’m afraid, irreplaceable, at least that’s how I see things at the moment.
So, my dear readers and friends. I wish you all well. Keep your eyes open for next year’s releases of The German Half-Bloods and a sequel to Swearing Allegiance, as yet untitled. That’s right, I’m finally going to write it!
Lots of love
